For Stays on Mondays and Tuesdays in Pond Suites and The Lodge
While Marlfield House and The Duck Restaurant are closed on some mid-week dates (normally but not exclusively on Mondays and Tuesdays), we welcome guests to stay in the Pond Suites and The Lodge on these nights with the following arrangements and services offered for their comfort and enjoyment:
* A welcome bottle of wine accompanied by a large antipasti board of meats, cheeses, home made dips and breads delivered to the suite on arrival
* A generous continental breakfast of eggs, meats, smoked salmon, granola, breads, yogurt and fruits delivered and laid out in your suite in the morning.
The hotel gardens and grounds are for the private use of our guests and the hotel drawing room with its blazing fire or the south facing house terrace would also be open during the day for our guests comfort. There are restaurants open in the area on both nights a list of which we can provide.
